Under the sea
In June our theme was under the sea! All rooms enjoyed a range of sea based activities throughout the month. Children across the nursery developed their fine motor skills through a variety of arts and craft activities. Our ‘walk the plank’ activity built upon children’s physical skills through balancing and coordination. The children’s speech and language was developed by learning names and facts about new ocean creatures. There was a lot of messy play/ tuff trays to engage children’s senses. we even got to explore real shark teeth!
