The world around us & Summer
In July our theme was The world around/ Summer. The children enjoyed lots of summer arts and craft activities. Our Pre-school room focused on a country a day, the children learned lots about the different countries such as the food they eat, the music they listen to, the things they celebrate and more! For Tiger day the preschool room also hosted a ‘The tiger who came to tea’ tea party and our preschool room leader even painted some tiger faces. The baby room taught the babies about recycling during ‘plastic free July’ in their own way by making a huge recycling wall for the babies to paint. For teddy bear picnic day, the toddler room focused on the book ‘we are going on a bear hunt’ providing all the children with inventive tuff trays and fun activities, they also hosted a picnic for all the children’s teddys from home!
